Hunters Hill Hawks Swim Team

Practice and Meets will be held if the air temperature is 55 degrees or above and it is not thundering or lightning. If the air temperature is below 55 and there is no threat of thunder and lightning, the coach will make a determination based on the conditions. (Options could include: dryland practice, swim practice or canceling practice). If in doubt, please check the website or pool gate for a posted sign. As the parent, you may of course make the final decision whether your child should swim or not based on current weather conditions.

To encourage children in Hunters Hill to participate in a recreational and competitive swim program to promote the sport of swimming, fun competition and overall well-being and health for children including learning stroke technique, conditioning, goal setting, personal development, sportsmanship and team spirit.

The Hawks Swim Team could not function without the support of everyone’s volunteer time! When you register, you will be required to choose volunteer slots to help support swim meets (such as timer, stroke judge, concessions sales, etc.) or for team building activities and fundraisers such as: Healthy, Fun Team Dinners on Fridays, Boat Races Coordinator, Movie Night Coordinator, Adult Swim Night Coordinator, Banquet assistance, DJ for swim meets and more. These events help build team and community comradery and are a fun way to bring your personality to the team! Our swim team is successful because of the hard work of our dedicated parent volunteers and without you, our team could not function. We always appreciate your time, talent, and enthusiasm as you support our swimmers.

We are working with Out of Breath Sports for swim suits and apparel again this season. 

They will have a representative at the pool during the meet and greet (May 6th).  Their team will bring swimsuits to help determine sizing for swimmers.
