Hunters Hill Hawks are members of and are governed by the Rocky Mountain Swim League (RMSL) which is a recreational league.
RMSL rules that most directly affect swimmers are:
1. A swimmer must be a current member of the pool for which they are swimming as defined by their Homeowners Association by-laws.
2. The age category in which your child will swim is defined by your child’s age as of June 1st of the current year. Swimmers are 18 years or younger.
3. The League requires swimmers to participate in at least 10 practices and 2 regular season meets to be eligible for Prelims and Finals.
Our eight week season begins in mid May with the first day of practice and will conclude in mid July with the Rocky Mountain Swim League finals and our end of season awards ceremony.
We offer the Minnows program for those younger swimmers who are comfortable around the water but may not be ready for competition. The purpose of the Minnows program is to prepare those children for their first swim meet.
