8 and under prelims is coming up on Monday!  There is some important information that Stonegate wanted us to pass along regarding parking, heating and meet layout.

#1 The parking map for Stonegate is attached. Please be warned that you will get ticketed or towed if you park illegally. At the request of Stonegate Village Metro District (SVMD) the Stonegate swim team has had to request Douglas County Safety Officers (DCSO) provide extra patrols on the day of the event to avoid the parking issues from previous years including residents being blocked in and unable to leave their home. Stonegate has been able to secure a permit for  parking on Stonegate Parkway in the bike line on the west side of the street (opposite side from the pool) just for the event. Parking on the east side of Stonegate Parkway is illegal and you will get ticketed if they park illegally in the bike lanes on the east side of Stonegate Parkway next to the pool. Please do not park in  cul de sacs because they are just too hard to successfully park in without blocking in the residents. Extra parking has also been approved in the school parking lot next to the Stonegate pool.

#2 Please write your child's name in Sharpie on their front shoulder **THIS IS SPECIFIC TO STONEGATE AND 8 AND UNDER PRELIMS AT THE STONEGATE POOL**. We are hoping this will make heating the little ones all day a bit easier. There is a photo in the attached word document as an example. They do not have to write all of the events there if they don't want to but they do minimally need their name on the shoulder.

#3 Attached is a parking map, information for prelims and a map of the pool for your information.  Warm Ups are at 7:10 AM.  Please check in with the coaches 15 minutes prior to warm ups if you plan to take advantage of that time.
