Hi Hawks! 

Our first meet is this Saturday and it is a HOME Meet! Thank you for all the volunteers - we are fully staffed! We will be welcoming the Willow Creek Wahoos!

1) Our tent will be at the southwest corner of the pool. Our families will set up on the West side of the pool, leaving the East side for our Willow Creek guests. 

2) We’ll do our shift change after event 45.

3) Also at the shift change, we'd like to do an exhibition event for our littlest kids - we call them our "Minnows." It would be one length of the pool, swum in a manner that causes them to not drown (however they can get from end to end). They'll very likely have a coach in the lane with them. We'd love it if you had younger kids that you think would like to participate, too! Our Minnows are all about 6 or under, have not ever really participated in a meet, and will definitely struggle to get to the end of the pool. If you have any kiddos who would like to participate, just give them and your coaches, and parents, a heads-up.

4) Our Starter Referee will hold a stroke judge meeting at 7:30 AM, then a timers meeting at 7:45 AM. Please inform your volunteers in these roles to be there in time for these meetings. NEW THIS YEAR, per RMSL, stroke judges for all shifts must attend this meeting.

5) Our team's warm up is 6:45-7:15 am. Please have swimmers ready to be in the water at 6:45 for warm up!

6) We will send out a PDF of the meet program as soon as we have it. We will also have heat sheets posted like last night. Printed programs will not be available at the meet. 

7) If you need to scratch for the meet, please text Coach Julien asap at 720-369-3615. Coach Luke will be out of town due to a family emergency so please give scratches to Julien for this meet.
