Hi Team,

What a great first week of swim - a HUGE thank you to everyone that volunteered at our many activities last week! We couldn't have such a strong team without you! 

Here is an overview of events this week! Please make sure you make your entries for the Saturday swim meet by Thursday at 10 am!

Picture Day - June 6th 8 - 9 am

Picture day is a chance to have both the 2019 Hunters Hill Hawks picture taken and individual swimmers. Practices will be cancelled this day as we will all meet from 7:45 a - 9 a at the pool! 

We plan on beginning at 8:00 AM so please arrive at the pool at 7:45.

Critical Info

Payment is due on picture day. Any late orders will be subject to a $5.00 fee for additional processing. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. All photos are always 100% guaranteed! Arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrivals will compromise our ability to accommodate subsequent teams on time! We need your help in making picture day timely, successful and fun! Stroke Clinics - Every Friday 5 - 6 pm

Each Friday at 5 pm, the coaches will offer a stroke clinic that focuses on one particular stroke. The clinics are open to all swimmers but are not separated out by age or skill level like at practices swim practices. The pool is open for free swim during all stroke clinics.

Team Dinners (Swimmers Only) - Every Friday 6 - 7 pm

Come celebrate with your teammates prior to each meet with a team dinner! Often after dinner, there are games at the park. 

Hunters Hill at The Preserve Meet - June 8th

Bingo Night - June 9th 6 - 8 pm

Bring the whole family and join the team for Bingo pool side!

DON'T FORGET: 

Float Away Boat Races - June 12th at 6 pm

On Wednesday, June 12, is the Float Away Boat Races. Please join us for an evening of home-made boats and root beer floats. Below are the rules for the boats. Everyone can share in the root beer floats. The fun and festivities start at 6 pm.

****Food trucks will be at the pool if you want to grab dinner pool side!*******

Boat requirements:

• Teams of 4 or less
• Each boat must have a theme
• Up to three pool noodles only
• Only cardboard and waterproofing materials (ex. Trash bags, saran wrap, duct tape)
• No more than 5 yards in length
• No motors (including manual kicking)
• No flotation devices except the three noodles
• Paddles must be hand-made (no oars)
• Hands are acceptable as paddles

Prizes will be given for first, second and third place plus a few other small prizes.
